I have never been to a book fair on campus. I don't usually attend events. However, when I got the chance to go to the UCF Book Fair, I had a great time. Despite getting straight out of work to then go to the Book Fair was worth it. I met an author who is diagnosed with brain cancer and he is going on a tour around the country to see his students to see if he made a difference. He does not much longer to live, but he was a very intriguing person and I am glad to have met him.
While I was there at the UCF Book Festival, I was also volunteering. I had to open the door and greet people as they came into the event's doors. I also saw Dr. S when she was entering the event. For a while, I also went to enjoy the festival. I got shirt (I donated money to help keep the fair open for free), got plenty of interesting book information, a few free books, smiles, and purple bag that holds them all in. It was the best and funnest time I ever had.
