In today's world, we are surrounded by technology. They are found in our homes, in our schools, in the neighborhood coffee shop, and magically in our back pocket or in our hands! However, I am very much into technology; I only have my phone and Facebook to keep in touch with my family that are all over the world.
As much as I don't like to use technology and prefer reading from the old paperbacks or do something productive with myself instead of sitting in front of a screen every day, I can't complain. I have to get used to the idea of having to do a lesson with technology, put in grades through a secret school web browser where students won't see their grades till the end of the nine weeks, and what not.

When I become a teacher, education will probably be more into the technological world; there is no way I would be able to run away from that! When I do become a teacher, I will use the following websites and programs to help my students in their education:
-Weebly
-Microsoft PowerPoint
-Microsoft Word
-Blogspot
-Facebook (create a class group for each class and post homework assignments and what not on there)
-Discoveryeducation.com
-Youtube / Teachertube
-Google / Google images / Google scholar
-A library website
There are more out there, but these are a few that I am extremely familiar with. As much as I don't use technology, it will greatly help in the future with both my students and me.
