Sooooo it's the end of the term and the end of this blog post (for now). Now to think of the questions that are given.
What did you learn about yourself as a writer?
I think I learned the most about how much fun I had writing and letting myself express myself so much better than I do when I speak. So it was fun writing online in a blog especially for this class.
What did you learn about digital writing?
I learned how cool it is to write digitally but the challenges that come with technology is a bit in the way. I feel that if I use digital writing in my class, it will be both a good an bad thing. I say bad because what if the student doesn't have access to this type of material at home? How can I provide it for them other than the school library? Do they know how to use a computer or any of the programs that are on there? Will they have internet access? These are questions I often find myself at; but then I also find the good in it because I can try my best to give these opportunities to my students. I can have computers in my classroom or even try to reserve some of my time to help the student learn how to use a computer and other such things. However, I have to say that digital writing is both fun and exciting even though it can face its own challenges (but that's where the fun is). Plus I am able to write what I think and feel. :D

What lessons can you take to classroom or share with future teachers about integrating blogging into instruction?
I think I can take the blogging and instruction to create not only for the students to use for their own writings, but to let parents know about our class. I can even create a parent section in the blog in order to get them involved with their children (like electronic newsletters, school events, let them know of classroom activities, post missed homework, etc.). The blogging was fun even though I have been facing difficulties with the internet and not-so-working-properly-laptop-that-needs-to-be-fixed-asap.
Challenges?
I think the biggest challenge I had the most was the internet. Every day was a mission to get internet working in my room at my apartment. I also had difficultly trying to finish everything on time for class even though I have been going through a lot of things this semester. Ughhh...
Successes?
I think that I succeeded in writing online more even though I don't usually use technology for anything other than to read or do homework (and probably talk to my family in the other side of the USA).
And with this... I have to say, thanks for an awesome semester, Dr. S! It was great to be in your class and learn a lot of new things from you from the perspective of a student and a teacher.
